Our inspection trips are designed to allow you time to go at
your own pace – we do not want you to rush your choice
or feel short-changed because of time-constraints or tiredness
after a long flight.
We feel a seven day period gives you time to view the properties
of your choice, to make the right decision for you, and to meet
all the people who will be involved in the purchase and management
of your dream home. Wherever possible we will try to accommodate
you in one of the communities that you have chosen as a favourite,
as this gives you the opportunity to “try before you buy”.
Our licensed realtors will meet you at the beginning of your
visit and show you the communities you are interested in, and
introduce you to the builders. If you need time to go back for
a second or third look, that’s okay, we want you to be
happy with your choice.
If you need a mortgage, we can introduce you to some independent
brokers who will find you the best option to suit your own circumstances
and requirements.
You will need to open a US bank account, and we will be happy
to introduce you to any number of reputable banks. This is needed
for the transfer of funds at various stages of construction,
and for the mortgage application.
During your stay in Florida we would like you to meet the resort,
reservations, maintenance and administration staff that you will
be working very closely with now, and over the coming years.
You will have the opportunity to discuss and understand how the
long-term management and success of the operation is achieved,
as well as familiarizing yourself with the systems and procedures
in place.
We will make all the arrangements for your 7 day inspection trip
on your behalf including flight booking, villa booking and car
hire – all at preferential rates. If you decide to go ahead
with a home purchase, we will reimburse these costs to you in full
on closing.
